The Parkview Medical Center (PMC) ED
The Parkview Medical Center (PMC) ED affectionately known as “Main”, treats all levels of acuity out of 45 beds. This 350-bed hospital, with ICU, Cardiology, and GI fellows to aid in the care of our patients, provides robust support for our emergency physicians. The PMC ED has all major specialties on call to meet the needs of our increasing patient volumes of approximately 45,000 annual ED visits. With a catchment area extending down to the New Mexico border, western Kansas, and all of southeastern Colorado, PMC serves as the region’s only Level-III trauma center.

We are a diverse group of dedicated physicians who love the community we serve. We maintain integral positions in hospital administration by serving on committees and holding various leadership roles at Parkview as well as in the community. As a team, SCEMA maintains strong relationships with hospital leadership and support staff in order to ensure our patients are well cared for.
The Parkview Pueblo West Hospital (PPW) ED
The Parkview Pueblo West Hospital (PPW) ED, caring for approximately 25,000 patients annually, serves as Pueblo West’s only ED. This 18-bed facility is fully equipped with lab testing, advanced imaging capabilities, respiratory and airway equipment, as well as blood products to support the needs of our physicians and patients alike. With a helicopter and a dedicated ambulance unit parked directly outside the ED, staff remains at the ready to quickly transfer patients to definitive care settings. The same specialties from PMC are also on call to aid in the treatment of complex patients. Additionally, a small attached hospital admits basic medical patients and orthopedic patients, providing convenient care for patients and smooth dispositions for our emergency physicians.

Where We work
We work in sunny Pueblo, Colorado Pueblo, Colorado where the blend of old steel, cowboy vibes, and outdoor fun have the charm that keeps folks coming back. As an enduring, blue-collar city of Colorado, Pueblo respects its working-class and military/veteran population. Its people are always appreciative of the informative and gentle care we provide. As a small industrial town we often see multi-generational patients and their family members over time, and they only become more grateful for our healing efforts.
